Hebrews 11:7: By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
Noah was so in the dark about so many things: He didn't know what an ARK (Gen. 6:14) was before building one. He didn't know what floodwaters (Gen6:17)were for it hadn't rained before that day. But despite Noah's ignorance on all these things, the one thing he wasn't ignorant of was the VOICE OF GOD nor was he ignorant of the need to listen & do whatever GOD instructed him to. So regardless of never seeing or having a point of referrence to help him building this ARK was totally on Faith. Committing to collecting the necessary material, the animals and food....was another act of FAITH. In him deciding to follow GOD's instruction it says he became an heir in the righteousness that is the result of keeping the faith. What about you? What is the Holy Spirit of GOD instructing or encouraging you to do? Are you known for "keeping the faith" regarding your job, your marriage, parenting your kids, etc?
You may not be asked to build an Ark, or take a rod and part the seas, but you are asked to simply LGLP (Love GOD and Love People) and I wonder can strangers since God's love in you? Do your neighbors value your existence in their community because of your FAITH & LOVE for GOD, or do they wish (or pray) you'd move? I challenge you today, to simply (BY FAITH) LOVE GOD enough to LOVE the people he puts in your path today, and may it show with all sincerity!
