WITHOUT IT.....WELL

Hebrews 11:5-6 says 5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Enoch, the son of Cain, yes the Cain that murdered his brother had a son, who through his living purposed his heart to please GOD.  It is recorded that Enoch lived 365 years, and if you could, IF WE ALL COULD just focus on attempting to please everyday in a year, what volumes that would speak to the world around us.  His living so pleased GOD, that GOD just took him, no funeral, no cremation or any of that.....JUST GOD TOOK HIM...how incredible would that be.   Who do you know, that truly seeks to please GOD?  Really stop and think aobut it...the scripture says WITHOUT FAITH (without you surrendering to TRY TO DO IT ALL) it is impossible to please Him.  It's the picture of a toddler refusing the feeding, the nurturing, to instruction of their parents...that it won't be long before they would experience the pangs of death.   Are you being the immature toddler?  Is there something you resolve to give up, and allow GOD to help you with?  I am sure whatever it is....requires FAITH!
Pictured is our family dog, Charlie...he's a blue/tan Cocker Spaniel and believe it or not....while imperfect (yes he's torn some pillows, knawed on a piece of furniture, even had an accident or two in the house, he desires to please us.  He wants us to be happy with him.  You, we are all like Charlie....we make messes of our lives and sometimes others and we desire that our master is pleased with our lives despite our mess ups...but in order for that to be WE HAVE TO HAVE FAITH to trust what our MASTER instructs us to do.  TODAY please try to live for the audience of ONE...and believe me....He'll make sure you see the needs of others around you to cause you FAITH to respond to their needs.
